Brownstone Residential was founded by Michael S. Guilbert, an established real estate professional with a solid background in project management, multi-family transaction management, and financial analysis. Before starting this venture, Michael served as Project Manager for both a major Fortune 500 developer as well as a privately held developer, where he played a key role in coordinating nearly $100,000,000 in new construction and redevelopment of residential properties.

In his role at Apartment Realty Advisors, Michael was involved in the financial analysis and due diligence of 100+ unit multi-family structures, with demonstrated strengths in risk evaluation and transaction management.

Michael holds a Masters in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Southern New Hampshire University. He also obtained a Masters in Real Estate Development & Construction Management, with a concentration in Real Estate Investment Finance and Development, from the University of Denver’s Burn’s School of Real Estate and Construction Management. Michael was recently named a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, an elite distinction held by only 6% of professionals specializing in commercial and investment real estate.
