Bartholomew B. Bastian Vice President of Development and Construction
As the Vice President of Development & Construction for Brownstone Residential, Bart is responsible for the planning, budgeting, and coordinating of all construction projects. In his role, he oversees the full development cycle, from initial design through scheduling and execution. A native of Washington, D.C., Bart has more than 7 years of experience in high-end residential development. He comes to Brownstone from Moonglow, LLC, a real estate investment and development firm, where he served as a Managing Partner. There, he specialized in the construction of high-end, custom single-family residences and the management of multi-family properties. Prior to that, he spent 15 years in the aviation industry as an Airline Captain, where he logged more than 5000 hours of flying experience.
With a proven skill for project management, Bart has successfully handled the conception, design, and planning of dozens of high-end, single-family homes in Coral Gables, Pinecrest, and South Miami, Florida. He has a seasoned knowledge of the South Florida real estate market, with a focus in the counties of Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Martin. Bart attended Purdue University and the School of Business at the University of Miami. He returned to the University of Miami in the spring of 2009, where he is pursuing his Architecture degree.
